Jazz Standard Radio \\ July New Music ft Sudan Archives, Tom Misch & Crewdson

Hotter than your weather report; new releases from Sudan Archives, Terrace Martin‘s The Pollyseeds and Photay‘s take on the hyped return of Jordan Rakei. It’s a moment for Spiritual Jazz, which makes a tantric tune from new London outfit Wildflower ideal. Tom Misch is back with a hooky ode to South London, and we delve into the new release from Flying Lotus drummer Richard Spaven. We include a track we premiered on the site from vocalist Miryam Solomon ft Shabaka Hutchings, and snack on unreleased treats from Werkha and instrument-maker Crewdson. We also play you two tracks from a Manchester compilation well worth being in your collection.

\\ Track List

Tom Misch \\ South of the River

Jordan Rakei \\ Sorceress (Photay remix)

Richard Spaven \\ Law

Werkha \\ String Flip

Contours \\ Lagoon

KinKai x Mecca:83\\ Safe Don’t Say
